"This project is a culmination of art, history, and community, and we're pleased to have it in place ahead of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation,"
Mayor Teunis Westbroek
Qualicum Beach, BC
This modern design pays homage to the original totem installed in the community in 1966. Today, locals and tourists alike are greeted by this re-imagined totem designed by Qualicum First Nation artist Jesse Recalma. The design was then crafted by our team at Wellington Foundry. This is a first of its kind for Wishbone and Wellington and we are very pleased with how it turned out and has been received by the community.
Our company has always had a heart for design as you can see by our less than conventional site furnishings designs. In recent years we have open our minds to one-off custom projects and have loved the process and the results. If you have a custom idea for your community, reach out to our team and let's get creative together!
